Why I chose Dr. Williams
I chose Dr. Williams, first of all, because my back and neck hurt from injuries that went long untreated. I need to be treated by an excellent chiropractor. Luckily, when I moved to
Dr. Williams qualifies as an excellent practitioner because he is effective, gentle, and flexible. Dr. Williams is effective because of his training and experience, but also because of his judgment. As a chiropractor he focuses on spinal adjustments. Sometimes it’s difficult to adjust my spine. Dr. Williams shows great care to choose how to perform adjustments, and in the face of significant resistance from my body, he occasionally chooses not to do an adjustment. I’ve heard that some other chiropractors “just jump higher” or “get a bigger hammer”. Dr. Williams doesn’t do that, and it has led me to appreciate his skill and judgment.
Dr. Williams is gentle. I leave his office felling well-treated and cared for. Dr. Williams’ treatments are sometimes vigorous and I sometimes find myself in awkward positions during my treatments, but I always feel better when I leave his office.
And Dr. Williams is flexible. I have chosen to work with other practitioners to help treat my pain and recover my strength and flexibility. Dr. Williams has cooperated with the other members of “my team” and sometimes in novel ways. For example, I worked with a hypnotist to help me relax my neck and make it easier to adjust. Dr. Williams encouraged me, and has altered his usual pre-adjustment preparations to allow me to listen to the hypnotist’s audio recording in a quiet room. Dr. Williams and I have discovered that this makes it much easier to adjust my neck, so we continue with this practice. Before we discovered hypnosis, we tried several other techniques that didn’t work as well. I felt that Dr. Williams and I were working as partners in my treatment, which is my highest compliment for any practitioner.
If I had never been treated by a chiropractor, I’m sure that Dr. Williams would have been an excellent choice. And, as someone who’s been treated by other Chiropractors, I have been very happy to work with Dr. Williams to continue my care.

I first came into Dr. Williams' care in December of 2006. At that time, I could barely step out of my truck and up the ramp to his office. My lower back and right knee were in excruciating, persistent pain, the result of a traffic accident from years beforehand.
Fortunately, Dr. Williams diagnosed my problems right away. After the first treatment, I felt some relief from the pain. After the first four sessions, the pain had subsided so much that I could resume full-bore karate practice again. Within six months, I had regained full mobility and nearly 99% relief from the pain. I could finally enjoy a night of good, uninterrupted sleep. I continue to see him once a month now, just for maintenance and additional stretching.
Dr. Williams treats his patients with technical expertise, but, more importantly, he has a passion for healing and a genuine sense of care. I have been in chiropractic offices that essentially regard patients like numbers or slabs of meat to be processed as quickly as possible. Dr. Mike takes the time to get to know his patients, treats them with his full attention and respects and gets solid results.
I recommend Dr. Williams to anyone suffering from back or joint pain. Long before you give up and go for numbing drugs or dangerous surgery, it's well worth your time to place yourself in the capable hands of this dedicated, personable professional.

I went to see Dr. Williams for a lower back injury (at the hip area). He examined the painful area and carefully adjusted it. During the time he was doing this, he kept asking if he was hurting me. He is very caring and concerned for his patient's comfort. After the first visit, I felt 75% better than I had been feeling. In 3 visits I was back to normal and able to return to work. I have never been treated by a chiropractor that was as gentle and caring as Dr. Williams. I have been in to see him on another occasion for something different and both my experiences were wonderful.

When I went to Dr. Williams, I had already been seeing a chiropractor for almost a year for a very painful hip. Under the care of my former chiropractor, I continued to get worse and I was becoming afraid of what the future held for me because of constant pain. Dr. Williams thoroughly examined me and asked me many questions about my lifestyle so he could understand more about the pain I was having and where it was coming from. He also adjusted me in a completely different way than I had ever had formerly. The results were immediate! Even more wonderful, he also figured out that due to the way I was sitting at my desk with one leg curled underneath me, I was causing my own pain! That knowledge is priceless in of itself.
